Training with the best
As many know Gunnar is now in New York training with Renzo Gracie. And so are numbers of great MMA and BJJ athletes including the welterweight champion Georges Saint-Pierre who went to New York to grapple with Renzo and his team as a part of his preparation for his title defense against Dan Hardy at UFC 111. Training at the Renzo Gracie Academy (RGA) right now are also many other MMA fighters, that have a big fight coming up shortly, like Frankie Edgar (fighting BJ Penn for the UFC lightweight title), Kenny Florian (fighting Takanori Gomi) and Ricardo Almeida (fighting Matt Brown) to name just a few. Renzo himself is of course fighting Matt Hughes on April 10th at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi. The GracieMag paid RGA a visit recently as can be seen on their website.
