Gunnar Nelson athlete of the year in Iceland

Gunnar Nelson was named athlete of the year by the readers of Vísir, but during the Christmas holidays the election of the top 10 athletes on the list of those nominated by the readers of the website took place. Gunnar beat it by far with around quarter of all votes. Articles on him were also the most popular sport news in Iceland in the year 2014 but 5 articles on him fighting got on the top 10 list including all top 3 ones.
