Gold at black belt debut in Pan No-Gi 2009

Gunnar won gold last night in his black belt debut at the Pan No-Gi Championship 2009. He won his weight class (medium heavy) and fought his way to the finals in the absolute division along with his teammate Rafael "Sapo" Franca. They decided not to fight and closed out the bracket with a coin toss-up which Sapo won. So Gunnar got the silver.
